Tax Advisory

Pay what you owe, not a dollar more — and never be surprised in April again.

Tax Advisory service from Wise Money Credit

Tax is not an annual event; it is a year-round consequence of decisions you make about income, entity structure, retirement contributions and investments. Our advisory service focuses on the planning that happens long before a return is filed.

For individuals, that means getting withholding right, using the right retirement accounts, timing capital gains, and understanding whether the standard deduction still beats itemising. For freelancers and small business owners, it means choosing between sole proprietorship, LLC, S-corp and partnership treatment with real numbers attached, tracking deductible expenses properly, and making quarterly estimated payments that do not trigger penalties.

We are not a return-filing factory and we will never promise an aggressive position that invites an audit. What we do promise is that every recommendation is explained in plain language, documented, and defensible if a notice ever arrives — and we help you respond to that notice too.

What is included

  • Annual tax planning session with a written action list
  • Entity structure review for self-employed and business clients
  • Quarterly estimated payment calculations and reminders
  • Capital gains, dividend and investment income planning
  • Retirement contribution and deduction optimisation
  • Representation support if you receive an IRS notice

Who this service suits

There is no single profile of borrower or client, but in practice our tax advisory service tends to fit people who recognise the points below. If you are unsure, the eligibility conversation is free and takes about fifteen minutes.

  • Individuals, freelancers, sole traders and small businesses
  • At least one year of prior returns available for review
  • Accurate records of income and expenses
  • Disclosure of any outstanding notices or back filings
  • Engagement before 1 December for full-year planning benefit

How we work with you

Every engagement follows the same rhythm. First we listen: what you need, when you need it and what your budget can absorb without stress. Next we model the realistic options — including the option of not proceeding — and put the numbers in front of you in writing. Only then do we discuss an application.

Once you decide, your advisor manages the documentation, liaises with the lender or provider, and keeps you informed at each stage rather than leaving you to chase updates. After completion we remain your point of contact for questions, reviews and any change in circumstances.

Frequently asked questions

Our emphasis is advisory. Where filing support is needed we prepare the return from the plan we built together, so the numbers are never a surprise.

Yes. We assess the notice, identify what is actually being asked, and respond on your behalf where you have authorised us to act.

Sometimes. It depends on profit level, payroll costs and state rules. We model the true saving after compliance costs rather than quoting a rule of thumb.

Ideally before the tax year begins, or at least by early December. Planning in March is mostly damage limitation.
