Wealth and Investment Planning

Advice built around your goals and your risk tolerance, not around a product to sell.

Wealth and Investment Planning service from Wise Money Credit

Most people do not need a cleverer portfolio. They need a written plan, sensible costs, and someone to stop them from selling at the bottom. Our wealth and investment planning service starts with your goals and constraints, and only then discusses products.

The first engagement is diagnostic: we map your net worth, cash flow, existing accounts, tax position and time horizons. From that we build an asset allocation matched to your actual risk capacity — which is often lower than the risk appetite people claim when markets are rising. Retirement projections, education funding, major purchase planning and an emergency reserve all get modelled together, because they compete for the same dollars.

Implementation is deliberately boring. Low-cost diversified funds, automatic contributions, annual rebalancing and a documented policy for what you will do when markets fall 20%. We review together at least once a year, and more often around life events: a job change, an inheritance, a business sale, a new child.

What is included

  • A written financial plan with clear, dated, measurable goals
  • Asset allocation modelling aligned to your real risk capacity
  • Retirement income projections across multiple scenarios
  • Education funding and 529 planning where relevant
  • Investment cost audit — you may be paying more than you think
  • Annual review plus ad-hoc calls around major life events

Who this service suits

There is no single profile of borrower or client, but in practice our wealth and investment planning service tends to fit people who recognise the points below. If you are unsure, the eligibility conversation is free and takes about fifteen minutes.

  • Open to clients with investable assets from $25,000
  • Willingness to share full financial picture, including debts
  • A time horizon of at least three years for invested funds
  • Commitment to an annual review rhythm
  • No minimum for a first planning consultation

How we work with you

Every engagement follows the same rhythm. First we listen: what you need, when you need it and what your budget can absorb without stress. Next we model the realistic options — including the option of not proceeding — and put the numbers in front of you in writing. Only then do we discuss an application.

Once you decide, your advisor manages the documentation, liaises with the lender or provider, and keeps you informed at each stage rather than leaving you to chase updates. After completion we remain your point of contact for questions, reviews and any change in circumstances.

Frequently asked questions

Planning and advisory work is fee-based, and we disclose every source of remuneration in writing before you engage us. If a product is unsuitable, we say so.

Both. Many clients start with a standalone plan, implement it themselves, and only later ask us to manage assets.

Formally once a year at minimum; in practice most clients speak with us two or three times a year, and immediately when something significant changes.

No — it is the best time. Behaviour established early compounds more reliably than any fund selection.
